If the music set is set to "Character", it plays only when the music from the character's skin matches the music from the map skin and when the player is in the right place. If a soundtrack has an "Extra" entry, that means that a skin has a theme that has its own song that does not appear when using different skins with the same music. If the title and character select themes are missing, that simply means the game doesn't have a map skin.
